Exchange 2010 | Allegati PEC

Procedete come segue:

  1. On each HUB server, in a cmd, run: dir  C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Common\
  2. Confirm that you have a folder named : 14.2.214.0__31bf3856ad364e35
  3. Then backup the following file before making any modification : C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Bin\edgetransport.exe.config
  4. Edit that file to insert the following lines at the beginning of the file, just UNDER the line <configuration> like this :

    <configSections>
           <section name="CTS" type="Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Internal.CtsConfigurationSection, Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Common, Version=14.2.214.0, Culture=Neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" />
    </configSections>
    <CTS>
          <MimeCacheMapThreshold Value="5120" />
    </CTS>

  5. Restart the “Microsoft Exchange Transport” service

Note #1: The value for MimeCacheMapThreshold is in KB, so to bypass the cache for items smaller than 5 MB you would set the value to  5120. By default, cache feature can improve Transport performance.

Note #2: The highlighted component needs to match the version that they have. The easiest way to do this is to simply look at the GAC directory for that DLL. For example, go to: C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Common\ . There should be a directory like this one: 14.2.214.0__31bf3856ad364e35
